Environmental Policy

It is the policy of Peak Construction Limited to minimise the impact of every Project on the Environment, so far as is reasonably practicable. We encourage and are proactive in ensuring the protection of the Environment at all times.

We actively promote our Environmental policy throughout the company, and ensure all employees receive environmental training appropriate to their role and responsibilities. Peak Construction Limited's aspirations are promoted with customers, subcontractors and suppliers and serve to strengthen relationships with those whose "green" aspirations complement those of our own.

We recognise the benefits of responsible purchasing, preferring to use alternative materials, products and services with reduced environmental and/or social impacts whenever these can be commercially justified. This includes using timber from well managed renewable sources whose dedication to the environment mirrors the company's policy. The policy for responsible purchasing applies to office staff as well as those on site.

We segregate waste for recycling or reuse whenever conditions permit, or use waste handlers that sort and recycle waste, reducing the quantity of waste sent for landfill or incineration. Our company minimises waste and makes efficient use of energy and materials on site and in the offices.

Peak Construction Limited minimise the risk of pollution on site and take every step possible to prevent any liquid waste from entering local water courses or surface water drainage schemes. We recognise the impact on communities in the areas in which we work and aim to manage activities to minimise the effects on the community with regard to noise, odours, air, dust, litter, transportation and parking.

Peak Construction Limited are committed to complying in full with all relevant National and European Environmental Legislation, Directives and Best Practice Guidelines.
